We did it, we reached our goal for the 2024 End of the Year Fundraiser!
Thanks to your generosity, we raised more than $5000, which was matched by an anonymous supporter.
These funds will be used to assist in creating new Parkinson’s Support Groups, and Exercise and Educational programs. We are also developing this website, jaxhopeinc.org, to be a center of information for people with Parkinson’s, their loved ones, and friends. We will continue to provide current medical news relating to Parkinson’s, support group information and activities including Rock Steady Boxing, and how to find regular exercise classes. We also started an
online community for everyone to share their insights and ask questions about Parkinson's. Please don't be shy and get involved!
Some other points of interest:
On May 3rd, we'll be holding an educational symposium. We have scheduled several medical experts lined up to discuss PD and what developments may be expected in the years ahead. In addition, there will be entertainment and maybe a little exercise. We'll be setting up a sign-up for the event with more details soon.
This fall we will be having our 3rd annual Beating Parkinson’s One Swing at a Time golf tournament.
“JAX HOPE for People with Parkinson’s” is our new Facebook page. Please, check it out and become a follower.
2025 is going to be a great year, with new medications and therapies available and on the horizon to help us live better with Parkinson’s until there is a cure.
Once again thank you to everyone that contributed, especially those that have chosen to give on a monthly basis.
Best Regards,
Gregg
