Parkinson's disease afflicts thousands more Americans than previous estimates: new study
A new study estimates that 90,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) each year. This is a steep 50% increase from the previous estimate. Find out what this means for Parkinson’s research and our community.

JAX HOPE INC. HIRES GREG RITSCHER AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
After receiving a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2011 Greg found himself at a cross road where he could either let the disease ruin the aspects of his life that he loved the most or he could fight back, thankfully he chose to fight back. Since his diagnosis, Greg has become a mentor for others fighting the disease and has established a Parkinson’s support group in Panama City Beach called, 3085Thrive, which is now under the umbrella of support groups sponsored by JAX HOPE INC.
